Each year since 2010 I have created a holiday mailer and stop-motion animation for the New Haven architecture firm Svigals + Partners. In December 2015, I designed an developed a mailer and animation with the theme Prosperous Compassionate Communities. The project involved working with the firm to identify and develop the theme, sketching storyboards, designing the set, and shooting hundreds of frames of animation. The houses in the forest form a village ­— a metaphor for collaboration. The paper tree card in the animation is the holiday card which was mailed to thousands of the firm’s clients and collaborators.
